Christmas Projects 2009: During the Month of December we were able to provide gifts and care packages to approximately 1000 children in the Metro Manila area, with the focus being on children and families most affected by the recent typhoons and flooding.

The care packages consisted of 4 kilos of rice, canned sardines and meat, 1/2 kilo of cheese, soap, toothbrushes, t shirts, and school supplies to school aged children.

A large measure of thanks also goes out to each of the restaurant chains who supplied very nice meals to each of the children. TGI Friday, Gerry's Grill, and President Tea House.

We also were invited to help host an annual Christmas party held by a group of friends for indigent children in San Mateo, Rizal. The children received a nice lunch, played party games with prizes and then received large care packages which included a wide variety of useful items including food, school supplies, slippers etc.
